ジオス・ウェリントン・ランゲージ・センター（GEOS Wellington Language Centre）は、このような大変近代的な建物やカフェが集まるウェリントン中心部に位置しています。

学生は、英語力向上のためにコンピュータ設備（無料）を利用することができます。
また、授業などについては国際的資格を有するスタッフが常時相談に応じております。
徒歩２分以内のエリアに約30軒以上のレストランなどがありますので、色々なところでランチやコーヒーブレイクを楽しむこともできます。

New Zealand’s capital city is famous for its strong arts culture and intimate city atmosphere. Located on a picturesque harbour, surrounded by dramatic hills, Wellington is home to New Zealand’s national museum, Te Papa, along with over 50 other museums and galleries.
You can explore the centre of the city simply by walking: at just two kilometres across, the vibrancy and excitement of the city’s cool cafes, elegant department stores, designer boutiques and local arts and craft markets are all within easy reach.
Located in the ultra-modern Saatchi and Saatchi building, and set in the middle of Wellington’s bustling inner-city caf? district, WLC is already a busy place. Students can use (free of charge) our computer facilities to improve their English, consult our internationally-qualified staff through a system of weekly tutorials, or step outside for a coffee or something to eat. There are over 30 restaurants and bars within 2 minutes walk from the school so they are not short of choice!
All students entering the Wellington school are covered by the GEOS guarantee of “total student service”. All teachers have degrees, specialist English-teaching qualifications and overseas experience. All homestay providers (who live, on average, 15-20 minutes from the city centre) are guaranteed to be welcoming and friendly.
As the capital city, Wellington itself has a cosmopolitan style of its own. When they are not studying English, students can choose between meeting friends at one of the many cafes, bars, galleries or museums within easy walking distance or enjoy the unspoilt “outdoor” pleasures for which New Zealand as a whole is world-famous.

スピーキング、リスニング、リーディング、ライティングの総合的なスキルを身につけます。
学生はテキストを使用し、テーマに基づいた授業を受けます。
テキストの要旨に従い、１週間ごと（もしくは２週間ごと）のトピックに重点を置いたアクティビティも行います。
これによりグループ内でのアイディアを共有したり、語彙力をつけることができます。
文法、文構造は徐々に導入し、クラス内のコミュニケーションアクティビティで実践練習します。宿題は定期的に出されます。
学生は４週間ごとに上達を評価するテストを受けます。
テストに合格し、授業を継続的に受講しており、課題を修了している方は、次のレベルへ進級することができます。
授業が易しすぎたり、難しすぎると感じられる場合は、担当教師に相談し、適切なクラスへ編入することができます。
/Format is Integrated Skills (Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing). Students use a core textbook (e.g. Headway, New Interchange, Cutting Edge). Class work is theme-based: activities are focus on a weekly or bi-weekly topic, usually following the coursebook syllabus, so that students can develop useful vocabulary and share ideas in group discussions. Grammar and structure are introduced progressively and used in class communication activities. Homework is given regularly. Every 4 weeks, students are tested and their progress is assessed. Students who pass the test, and have consistently participated in class and completed their homework, can move to the next level. Those who find their class too easy or too difficult, can ask to be moved to a more suitable level.

この５週間のコースでは、IELTS試験対策を行います。
授業は、試験形式（リーディング、ライティング、インタビュー、リスニング）に基づき、特に分析的なエッセイライティング、表やグラフの解説、アカデミックリーディング、質問の仕方、ディスカッションへの参加、質問に対するまとまりのある回答等のスキルに重点をおきます。
/A five-week full-time course preparing students for the IELTS examination. Class work follows the format of the exam (Reading, Writing, Interview and Listening), with emphasis on skills like writing analytical essays, describing figures and graphs, reading academic texts for general meaning and specific information, asking questions and participating in discussions, and presenting organised, developed answers to questions.
